Your journey to a nature-positive future

The Nature for
Life Hub

A global platform for a nature-positive world

The Nature for Life Hub is a virtual event and global communications campaign, hosted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and its partners, dedicated to placing nature at the heart of sustainable development. We convene world leaders, businesses, finance experts, NGOs, Indigenous Peoples, and activists to showcase solutions and drive ambitious action for nature.

The three transformative shifts

This year, the Nature for Life Hub is aligned with the UNDP Nature Pledge - a pathway to transform our global systems to protect and restore our planet, eradicate poverty, reduce gender and other inequalities, advance human rights, and accelerate overall progress on the 2030 Agenda.

Learn more about our vision for change:

A Global Value Shift is about transforming the value we place on nature and drive changes in people’s behaviour. That means placing nature at the heart of development and across sectors including governance, economics, finance, health, and conservation.

An Economic and Finance Shift supports a system where natural capital is valued alongside financial, human and man-made capital by decision-makers.

A Policy and Practice Shift is needed to deliver change at scale on the ground - led by countries and grounded in partnerships with local communities and Indigenous Peoples.

Your on-demand journey

The heart of the Hub is a suite of Learning Journeys: interactive, self-paced digital experiences that guide you through key themes, insights, and actions. They transform powerful content from one-time events into an evergreen resource available to you year-round.

What our learning journeys offer:

  • Expert guidance: Follow an expert guide who connects the dots and guides you through the material.
  • Bite-sized tasks: Engage with short, practical tasks designed for fast and effective learning.
  • Knowledge checks: Solidify your understanding with scenario-based questions and a final test.
  • Certificate of completion: Earn a certificate to recognize your learning and commitment.

With learning journeys, we are evolving the Hub into a more impactful, inclusive, and lasting experience—designed to inform, inspire, and empower you to act for nature.
