Scaling up local action for global impact

The Small Grants Programme (SGP) has delivered over US$720 million to more than 27,000 community-led projects in 136 countries around the world, including 37 Small Island Developing States and 41 Least Developed Countries, since 1992. In 30 years, SGP has evolved into a unique civil society-led platform to scale local action on global environmental issues while strengthening livelihoods. As an incubator and accelerator of community innovations, we will continue to evolve and support a sustainable future for people and the planet by acting now.
