This interactive and candid discussion on Access to drinking water for Indigenous peoples in the Amazon featured the UNDP Equator Prize winner Associação Yawanawá in conversation with Água Camelo, a Brazilian social enterprise expanding access to affordable clean drinking water.

Organized by UNDP, Agua Camelo, Tribal Link Foundation, and other partners to take place during the 2023 UN Water Conference in New York City, the conversation dove deep into the current situation in the Yawanawa communities including challenges faced to secure clean water, and how the solution provided by Agua Camelo is addressing this basic need. Água Camelo also shared the story of their company and discussed their early beginnings, inspirations, and future goals, and panelists discussed the story's implications for other Indigenous peoples in the Amazon.
