What we do
Learning for Nature is a premier e-learning programme brought to you by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). This programme connects biodiversity policymakers, change-makers, and on-the-ground subject matter experts to promote biodiversity conservation and facilitate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
Building on our learning on the ground, we seek synergies, build linkages, and engage thousands of course participants on their journey towards sustainable development solutions for people, nature, and resilient communities.
The Sustainable Development Goals
The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015, provides a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. At its heart are the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - an urgent call to accelerate sustainable solutions to all the world's biggest challenges.
Biodiversity underpins half of SDG targets. On Learning for Nature, you will find a wide range of e-learning opportunities to support your efforts towards nature-based sustainable development.
