GBF Early Action Support Project
The GEF Global Biodiversity Framework Early Action Support (GBF-EAS) project is an effort funded by the GEF to fast track readiness and early actions to implement the CBD in this decade. The project is jointly implemented by UNDP and UNEP, in partnership with the CBD Secretariat and the GEF, and provides financial and technical support package that focuses on four components: NBSAP alignment, national monitoring systems, policy and institutional coherence, and biodiversity finance.
The GBF-EAS Project is holding a monthly webinar series to support governments to fast-track early actions to implement the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework. The webinar recordings and presentations are available in the “Webinar” tab below.
The project brochure is also available in the “Documents” tab and here: English, French, and Spanish. Briefs on each of the project components can also be found here: English, French, and Spanish.
